All the other stuff...

There is no such thing as a "free" ferret. The older a ferret is, the more medical costs should be expected. Ferrets will often start showing medical conditions around the age of 3-4years of age. Left untreated, medical needs will be more costly in the end.

Emergencies

$2000 min

It is recommended that an owner have a minimum of $2,000/ferret in savings at all times, for unexpected emergencies that come up.

Euthanasia & Cremation

$350-$600

To help cross the rainbow bridge
